Answer

If you are using a traditional phone company to deliver your broadband (via DSL) you will be paying 'line rental' on top of your 'broadband rental' costs. Many people use freespeech to avoid paying 'line rental' by using a cable or wireless broadband provider.

When you use a wireless or cable broadband provider they will only charge 'broadband rental', since we do not charge 'line rental' you will avoid paying line rental altogether.

NOTE:If you are using DSL (broadband over a phone line) you can still benefit by using freespeech to add additional phone lines (you can talk on your tradional line andmultiple VOIP lines at the same time) and also make free VOIP calls and low cost mobile, landline and international calls.
